This is a fast-moving, swash-buckling, romp for all the family. Based on the famous novel this is tongue-in-cheek tale of love and heroics with lots of narrow escapes and derring do.

D’Artagnan, an enthusiastic but clumsy young Gascon, is determined to become a musketeer like his father. He sets off to enlist at the court of King Louis XIII and soon crosses swords with everyone he meets.

He is befriended by three experienced musketeers, Athos, Porthos and Aramis and at their suggestion engages a manservant Planchet. Once in Paris, he falls hopelessly in love with Constance Bonacieux, wardrobe mistress to the Queen.

With the help of three musketeers he has to foil Cardinal Richelieu’s plan to discredit the Queen and expose her love for the Duke of Buckingham. Only by succeeding in this task will he become a musketeer.
