Little Oak Wood
North London's best-kept secret, this open-air theatre is nestled in an oasis of woodland minutes from the A1. On a summer evening it is a truly magical venue to enjoy drama, reminding us that every theatrical event can be wholly unique. Our favourite venue for performing Shakespeare.
There are three ways to enter the wood. One entrance is on Addison Way, directly opposite the link road that joins to Falloden Way. The second entrance is on Oakwood Road. The third entrance is on Denman Drive North, at the spot where the road turns a right-angle.
The nearest tube stations are Finchley Central (Northern Line, High Barnet branch), East Finchley (Northern Line, High Barnet branch) and Golders Green (Northern Line, Edgware branch). From Finchley Central, catch an 82 or 460 bus heading south and get off at Henlys Corner. From East Finchley, catch a 102 bus heading towards Brent Cross and get off just before Henlys Corner. From Golders Green, catch an 82, 460 or 102 bus heading north and get off at Henlys Corner.
If you wish to drive to the theatre there is free on-street parking in the surrounding streets, but please park with consideration for local residents.
The theatre is here, in the heart of the wood itself.
