GST invites you to audition for the second of our two open-air summer productions for 2020, Twelfth Night, one of Shakespeare’s best-loved comedies.
Orsino is in love with Olivia, Olivia is in love with Cesario, Viola is in love with Orsino and Malvolio is in love with himself. Sir Toby belch is drunk, Maria is vengeful and Sir Andrew is out of his depth. Antonio loves Sebastian, Sebastian falls for Olivia and Feste fools us.
The audition will use the excerpts attached and possibly different ones on the day. With a very few exceptions escriptions of the characters has been kept deliberately vague to encourage people to try out for roles they may not ordinarily consider themselves for. Whichever role you think you’re best for come and show us!
We will be rehearsing Monday and Wednesday evenings and Sundays afternoons.
If, due to exceptional circumstances you are unable to attend this audition and wish to audition by video/at another time or you have any questions about the show or this audition notice, please feel free to contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
