A Murder is Announced
It’s Friday 13th and a notice in the Chipping Cleghorn Gazette states the time and place when a murder is to occur. Curiosity overcomes trepidation and the villagers gather to await the hour… What follows is a classic and ingenious Christie puzzle involving a cast of entertaining characters and two sleuths – Inspector Craddock of the county police and, somewhat to his frustration, Miss Jane Marple, who always manages to be one step ahead on the path to solving the mystery.
